A cross-chain lending protocol was an innovative idea even for the crypto space. Being given the responsibility to lead the UX process, I got upon a task to redefine how decentralized finance is approached.
Over the course of a five-day design sprint, I crafted this web app dedicated to claiming exclusive limited edition NFTs, generated by the collaboration of Folks Finance and Pera Wallet. The process commenced with extensive research and brainstorming, where I gained a profound understanding of the NFT landscape and Pera's core values.
Day one was dedicated to empathizing with our target audience, identifying their desires, and assessing pain points in existing NFT platforms. Armed with those insights, the second day involved defining the website's unique value proposition, outlining user flows, and framing a clear vision for the project. Moving onto day three, I headed into a rapid prototyping frenzy, creating wireframes that breathed life into the initial concepts.
The fourth day was the turning point, as I delved into transforming the wireframes into visually captivating designs, ensuring a seamless user experience throughout the platform. The color palette was carefully selected to exude a sense of exclusivity to the NFTs, while keeping the familiarity of other Folks Finance platforms. Typography played a crucial role in lending the website a distinct identity and fostering readability.
Finally, on the fifth day, I conducted rigorous user testing sessions to validate the functionality of the prototypes. Subsequent iterations based on user feedback further honed the design. The journey from ideation to execution was a rollercoaster of creative exploration, problem-solving, and iterative refinement.
