A cross-chain lending protocol was an innovative idea even for the crypto space. Being given the responsibility to lead the UX process, I got upon a task to redefine how decentralized finance is approached.
During my internship at FEV Automotive as a UX Engineer, I took on the challenge of developing FEV Bus Load Calculator, an internal tool for automatically calculating the bus load of different vehicles. To ensure a seamless user experience, I started by designing a pixel-perfect user interface, focusing on simplicity, intuitiveness, and efficiency. Collaborating with stakeholders and gathering feedback from future end-users, I refined the design, considering every detail to meet their specific needs.
The Front-end development phase involved utilizing Python PySimpleGUI to bring the envisioned UI to life. With a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, I carefully implemented various functionalities, ensuring that users could effortlessly input vehicle data, view real-time calculations, and obtain clear, concise results.
Moving on to the back-end development, I used Python Openpyxl to establish a robust data handling system. This backend seamlessly processed the input data, performed the necessary calculations, and organized the results in a structured manner within Excel spreadsheets. By validating the input data, I ensured the tool's reliability and accuracy.
The successful completion of the FEV Bus Load Calculator brought me immense satisfaction and served as a testament to my strong problem-solving skills, creative mindset, and attention to detail. While it was an honor to be offered a full-time position at FEV Automotive at the end of my internship, I had to humbly decline the opportunity to follow my passion for UX Design.
