As the sole UX designer behind Folks Router, my task was to address the things that a lot of other crypto companies tend to ignore, and those are the pain points of developers when creating decentralized applications. With Folks Router, we wanted to optimize swapping with access to over 200 liquidity pools across partner DEXs.

This web app required a slightly different design approach, putting all the empathy not on the general user, but on the general developer. We followed making complex features easy to use for this audience, and at the same time creating an appealing product for DeFi companies. We believed factors like split routing and fixed-input/output swaps will empower users with flexibility and efficiency. With a flat 0.1% fee, Folks Router also minimizes costs while maximizing savings.

Launching Folks Router was a huge part of our 2023, as it got integrated into our own applications. Multiple businesses have also discovered the benefits of our product and therefore integrated it into their own apps. This is the reason why Folks Router is in a constant growth even today, having hit multiple months with over 5 million dollars in transaction volume.
